| Along the ancient "Salaria street" in the zone called "Alto Lazio" in the middle of the Italy is located Amatrice, crossroads of three italian regions: Abruzzo, Marche and Umbria, just one hour and fifty minutes from Rome and only fifty minutes from San Benedetto del Tronto - Riviera delle Palme.
Our area is located in an upland between 900 and 1000 mt of altitude with the wonderful Scandarello Lake. All the area is enclosed by mountain over 2400 mt of altitude and Amatrice is one of the main doors of the National Park of Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga. The tourists are usually amazed by our historical and environmental heritages and our worldwide famous food traditions, in particular the "Amatriciana Sauce" or "Spaghetti all'Amatriciana" one of the most famous italian dishes in the world. |
